Centres of Excellence


Aspiration is a key to motivation and one of Exclusive's key aspirations is to establish our very own Exclusive Learning and Development Centre.

As part of our company and more importantly our people strategy, in February 2017, the planned refurbishment of our Swindon Office into a Regional Administration and Company Learning & Development Centre commenced. The refurbishment which is due to be completed by mid-April will result in Exclusive having our own Learning and Development Centre in which we will:

  • Employ a new Exclusive Training Manager on site
  • Replicate the fabric and cleaning requirements of our individual market sectors.
  • Utilise our client relationships given that major clients in the primary defined sectors in which we operate have promised to supply us with the appropriate fabric which we believe will allow us to further develop the service we deliver.
  • We will also be able to use the centre for innovation trials.
  • As an approved BIC’S Hub, we will again be able to deliver additional training programmes
  • Finally, we will be able to offer the facilities to clients who may wish to use the centre for their own use

In addition, we have recently commenced a succession planning programme in partnership with an external consultant in which we are reviewing, planning and seeking to coach/mentor staff in realising and achieving their own success and ambitions. The process commenced in December 2016 and will continue as part of our team development.

Our Site Managers and fully qualified training managers will oversee the Centre of Excellence in keeping with Exclusive's benchmark standards. This will fall into our desire to further our staff development as a BICS’s Hub Centre and also following our NVQ training achievements with the Exclusive team.
